Making a regular gift to Porchlight allows us to plan for the long term. It helps us to meet the future challenges and develop new and innovative ways to help people change their lives. You can donate on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis to support our life changing work. Every pound makes a difference to someone.

If you would rather send us a donation by post, please send a cheque made payable to “Porchlight” to Head Office, 2nd Floor Watling Chambers, 18-19 Watling Street, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2UA.

Remember us in your Will
Remember us in your will
Porchlight is a member of the Remember A Charity campaign, to promote the gift of a legacy to more people. By making a charitable donation in your will, the total amount of inheritance tax due from the estate is reduced. At the same time you are providing vital funds to enable us to continue to change lives in your name.

Making a donation through your Will makes a real difference to many people’s lives and the advantage is that you don’t have to part with any money today. It’s also good to know that bequests to charity are subject to far fewer tax deductions.

Gifts in-Kind
Many of the people we support come to us with very little and even when they are ready to move on in life and set up home by themselves, they are in need of many things that most of us take for granted. We source most of the items we need through other organisations for free or very little, however there are times that we will be able to take items of furniture such as beds, bedding, table and chairs, kitchen equipment, TVs etc so it is worth contacting us to find out.

Harvest Festival and Christmas is also a time when many people stop to think about those less fortunate than themselves. We welcome gifts at this time, which we can give direct to those people accessing our services.

If you would like to speak to someone about the various ways you can donate to Porchlight, please email Rachel van Hoven, Community Fundraising Officer, or tel. 01227 760078.
