If you have decided to undertake a personal or educational project around the theme of homelessness and would like us to facilitate access to our accommodation or service users for this please complete and submit the form below.

We award 4 project placements each year.

Unfortunately due to the large number of requests we receive we will respond where possible but we regret that we are unable to respond to everyone. If you have been successful you will hear from us within 28 days of the date of submission. If you have previously submitted an application and been unsuccessful please do not submit a second application for the same project.

Placements are awarded based on consideration of the following criteria:

  1. How your project helps us to challenge attitudes and raise awareness of homelessness
  2. Time commitment required by the charity
  3. Other activities/projects already ongoing within Porchlight

On occasion your project may involve working alone with vulnerable adults. You need to be aware that this will require a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check and will take time to complete.

The decision of the Development and Communications Team is final and as such no correspondence will be entered into about the decision.

I agree that if my application is successful Porchlight can use any media produced by my project to promote the work of the charity.
