Kent homelessness charity Porchlight is offering places in next year’s Brighton Marathon to runners looking to raise money for vulnerable people in the county.
One of the most popular UK marathon events
The event takes place on Sunday 15th April 2011. Rachel van Hoven, Community Fundraiser said: “General entries are now closed so the only way to take part is to run on behalf of a charity. The Brighton Marathon is quickly becoming one of the most popular running events in the country and event organisers have promised it will be even bigger and better than in previous years.”
Porchlight provides rough sleeper support, supported accommodation and homelessness prevention services in Kent. Last year they helped over 2,300 people to change their lives for the better.
