Porchlight trustee (voluntary position)
We’re looking for people to join our board of trustees and make a real difference to the lives of homeless and vulnerable people.
If you’re driven, enthusiastic and believe in coming up with creative new ways to help others, we want to hear from you.
This is an excellent opportunity to be actively involved in supporting the work of a well-established charity which makes a positive and lasting impact to the lives of people in Kent and Medway.
Porchlight has a long history of providing high quality support to homeless, vulnerable and isolated people. We’re working towards a future where homelessness and poverty are things of the past, and the most excluded are included. By volunteering your knowledge, skills and experience, you can help us make this vision a reality.
Our trustees are currently appointed on a voluntary basis and must be able to commit to at least three years in the role. Board meetings take place four times a year (in February, April, July and November). Trustees also have the opportunity to use their skillset to aid our work outside of these times. Applications from under-represented and minority groups (for example, people from black, Asian and ethnic minority communities) are particularly welcome.
