We rely on your donations to continue supporting young people and their families through our BeYou Project.

Young LGBTQ+ people who choose to come out may experience anxiety, isolation and rejection from their community and from those closest to them.

Those who do not feel able to express their identity also face challenges because they have no safe space to be open and honest about who they are.

This can have a detrimental effect on a young person’s mental health, their friendships, their ability to thrive at school and their home life.

There may be issues within the home, such as domestic violence or abuse, which mean someone becomes even more isolated.

It is also common for a young person to flee their home because they could not face coming out at home for fear of negative outcomes.

Young LGBTQ+ people may experience anxiety, isolation, abuse and rejection. They may flee their home.

Whatever someone is facing, we’re here to help them. Through our BeYou service we offer safe welcoming meet-ups, information and advice and one-to-one support from our experienced team.

By putting the right help in place, we can ensure young people feel included, have a safe place to call home and a bright future.
