Thank you for considering becoming one of our vital volunteers. As a volunteer, we ask you commit to at least six months with us. This is because of the time it takes to build trusting relationships with people we support.

If you can’t commit to at least six months but still want to support Porchlight, a donation can help us support people all year round.

Volunteering with Porchlight isn't a one-way street. All of our volunteers are offered the same training opportunities as staff. We really want to help our volunteers gain valuable experience and develop their skills.

Some of our volunteer roles may require you to have a DBS check.

Our volunteering roles can be quite flexible and we do offer some limited roles outside of working hours.
