Administration support volunteer

Provide behind-the-scenes support to our mental health service

We’re looking for someone with administration skills to help us support people who are struggling with their mental health

You’ll provide administrative support to our Live Well Kent & Medway service which helps people to improve their mental health and general wellbeing. This will involve:

  • Keeping the client database updated
  • Having phone conversations with people who are waiting for support
  • Keeping notes of these conversations
  • Other general administrative tasks (which may include contacting other organisations to share information and applying for grants).

Although your volunteering hours will depend on the amount of time you are able to give, we are ideally looking for someone who can commit to eight hours or two half-days per week.

This role is a chance to help make a real difference to people’s lives. If you care about using your skills to help others overcome problems they are facing and regain independence, we want to hear from you.

What we need from you

  • A passion for helping others to improve their mental health
  • Good communication skills and confidence to speak with people who are on are waiting lists
  • An eye for detail and excellent IT skills
  • Willingness to learn our processes and procedures
  • A basic understanding of confidentiality and data protection


Flexible between working from home and being based at our Chatham office.
