HeadStart volunteer mentoring
What we do
If you are a young person (aged 10 – 16) going through a difficult time or unsure what you want to do in life, we can help.
We’ll team you up with an older mentor who shares similar interests to yours. The mentor will help you think about what you want to achieve, and what support you need to do that.
Your sessions together could include sport, activities in your local area, and help with school work – whatever will benefit you.
You and your mentor will meet for a couple of hours each week outside of school hours (early evening or weekends). You can have a mentor for up to 6 months.
