Calling all teachers...
Heroes Against Homelessness is charity non-uniform day with a twist. Pupils are sponsored to dress up as community heroes, learning how to be more thoughtful, active and caring citizens.
- Raise money to help people in need
- Teach pupils about homelessness (in an age appropriate way)
- Make use of our free teaching resources.
The money raised helps Porchlight support homeless and vulnerable people across Kent.
What happens on the day itself and how we can support your fundraising challenge.
Information for parents, lesson plans and classroom activities, educational videos, sponsorship forms and more.
Everything you need to get your class started on the Heroes Against Homelessness challenge.
“An engaging session, highly relevant to children of this age which challenged preconceptions they had of homeless people.” Lydia McCorriston (teacher)
