If you feel your mental health is holding you back, we can help
We are here to help you improve your mental health so you can achieve what's important to you, like finding a job or meeting new people.
Our Aspirations service is free and available for anyone aged 25-60 who lives in Kent, Medway or East Sussex and is not currently in employment.
You can self refer online anytime, it's quick and easy to complete. Or if you prefer, you can call free on 0800 567 7699 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm).
You will have access to your own coach and personalised programme, with a range of support to help you:
- Reduce symptoms such as anxiety, depression, loneliness
- Gain new skills
- Take steps towards finding a job, or volunteering opportunity
- Improve your self-esteem, feel more confident
- Connect with your community, such as local groups
- Take part in activities such as art and sports
- Help with money worries, or benefits claims
You can choose to access support in person, via video call or by phone.
Whatever your circumstances, we will take time to listen to your needs - we won’t judge you and we will respect your privacy.

Mental health support if you are in employment
Porchlight has a wide range of free mental health and wellbeing services available for anyone living in Kent and Medway.
If you're in emotional distress and need urgent help
Life can get tough sometimes, but talking can help. The Release the Pressure team in Kent is available 24/7. They provide urgent support with trained counsellors who will listen, no matter what you are going through. You can text the word KENT to 85258 or call 0800 107 0160
You can also webchat with Mental Health Matters, an independent charity, who are available 24/7.
