Do you want to make a difference?

When you see a person on the street, do you worry about how you can help?
A growing number of teenagers and young adults in Kent are becoming homeless. We can help them escape the streets - but only with your support.
There are lots of reasons that people find themselves in this situation. For many young people it’s because family life has broken down so much that their only option is to leave home.
Too often, they have experienced neglect, violence and abuse. The longer they are left without help, the more deep-rooted their problems become.
By donating to Porchlight’s appeal, you could give a young person somewhere safe to live, essential emotional support and access to schemes designed to get them into work or education.
Last year, we worked with 255 young people who were sleeping rough or in our supported housing. These are people who had no one to turn to, but thanks to supporters like you they now have a brighter future.
But with homelessness on the rise there’s a lot more work to do. We want to be there for everybody who needs us, but we can’t do it without you.
