Help us make Christmas brighter for homeless people in Kent
20 November 2018
Helping us treat someone to a Christmas meal has
a bigger impact than you might think
When our residents sit down to enjoy a special meal (perhaps for the first time in years) they’ll be doing so with a new sense of hope.
Many will have spent last Christmas on the streets. Cold, hungry and afraid, it was a desperate struggle to survive. This year, they’ll be cooking and sharing a meal in one of our housing projects, safe in the knowledge that they have somewhere warm and secure to call home.
But we do more than provide shelter and a hot meal. We help people to rebuild their lives so that they can move towards a happier, more independent future.
Sadly, homelessness in Kent is getting worse. Last year, we found 834 people sleeping rough and we’re expecting numbers to rise.
We want to be there for everyone that needs us but we need your help. Please make a donation so we can provide the support that allows people to live with dignity and respect.
