Nature is our gym

Nature is our gym! Our clients are using the great outdoors to improve their general fitness and wellbeing. Instructors lead a series of challenges to promote agility, balance and coordination and encourage natural movement.
“We provide lots of opportunities for our service users to take up exercise because it can help alleviate feelings of depression or anxiety, and be a real boost to morale,” said our jobs, education and training manager Richard Barnard. “This is a great initiative that gets people out into the fresh air, having fun, whilst helping them to feel healthier and more positive about themselves.”
Nature's gym is part of a weekly programme, designed to keep our service users active and engaged, and to help build their confidence as they move towards independence.
