“Something has to give... we need your help”
8 February 2018
There’s a homelessness crisis and we desperately need your help. This is an urgent message from our chief executive Mike Barrett.
It's freezing outside and homelessness in Kent has reached an all-time high.
There are hundreds of people living and sleeping on our streets right now. They are cold, hungry, exhausted and need our help more than ever before.
Government funding cuts to local authority budgets are decimating the help that’s there to support people, including services such as our life-saving rough sleeper team.
And our team is being stretched to breaking point due to Kent’s ongoing homelessness crisis.
Something has to give and that’s why we’re turning to you for support. Please make a donation and help us continue our work in these difficult financial times.
Your generosity makes our work possible, and without you we simply wouldn’t be able to help everybody that needs us.
With services for homeless people being cut to the bone, our work is more vital than it’s ever been.
Please give what you can and help us save lives and transform futures in 2018.
