We have a new service that supports families experiencing poverty
It helps them address financial worries, housing issues, family relationship problems and more
We're pleased to announce a new service – family routes – which provides practical and emotional support for Thanet families experiencing poverty.
When families experience financial hardship, it creates instability in their lives. It also affects their mental health, family relationships and education.
Our family routes service helps families with children aged 10+ to address the practical effects of poverty – financial worries, housing issues and difficulties finding employment. We also give them the tools to manage the emotional effects of poverty such as poor mental health and relationship breakdowns.
The aim is to help families build a more stable future and reduce the poverty they’re experiencing.
Families can be referred to our family routes service via Early Help professionals.
