About the London Marathon

The 2027 London Marathon is making history with a spectacular two-day event, welcoming more than 100,000 runners across both days. Porchlight is proud to be part of this landmark occasion.

Starting in Greenwich, the iconic route takes you past world-famous landmarks including Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf before finishing on The Mall with Buckingham Palace as your backdrop. The course is relatively flat, making it a fantastic opportunity to achieve a personal best.

Whether you're taking on your first marathon or you're a seasoned runner, Porchlight will support you every step of the way. From tailored training plans and fundraising advice to race-day encouragement, we'll help you feel confident from the start line to the finish. On the day, our team will be there to cheer you on alongside your family and friends, before celebrating your incredible achievement together.

Every mile you run will help Porchlight support people experiencing homelessness and those at risk of losing their homes. By joining Team Porchlight, you'll be helping to create brighter futures and ensure that no one has to face homelessness alone.

You must be at least 18 years old to take part in the London Marathon.
