Fundraising volunteer

Support our fundraising challenges, talks and events

Can you give up your time to support our fundraising team? You'll be helping to bring in money that will change vulnerable people's lives. The amount of time you spend volunteering is your choice (we're flexible and there are a number of different ways to get involved. You could:

  • attend fundraising events to cheer on anyone who is taking part for Porchlight
  • be part of Porchlight fundraising events as a greeter or marshal
  • give talks about Porchlight's work to schools and community groups (either with a member of the fundraising team or on your own)
  • drop / pick up Porchlight collection pots to businesses and other locations in the local community
  • put up posters and flyers (with permission) advertising Porchlight fundraising events.
Please note - we don't expect you to do all of these things. Just let us know what suits you best. This is a fun role which allows you to meet others, develop fundraising skills and make a big difference to people's lives.

What we need from you

  • No experience is required
  • Enthusiasm and a passion for helping others
  • Reliability
  • Ideally, you'll have access to your own transport
  • Two references will be required

An induction and training will be provided.
