Homelessness accommodation volunteer
Make a difference in our hostels
Roles available in Dover and Margate
You’ll ensure that people who’ve experienced homelessness have somewhere safe and welcoming to call home.
Working as part of our hostel team, you will make up welcome packs of food and essentials for people who are moving into a Porchlight property from the streets. You’ll carry out room checks. These are to make sure that our residents have comfortable and living spaces where they can recover from the trauma they’ve experienced. You will also help our hostel team to carry out some administrative tasks.
If you’re passionate about helping people get to where they want to be in life, we want to hear from you.
