Our new service for LGBT+ young people
Introducing The BeYou Project
Young people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, non-binary or questioning their sexual orientation and / or gender identity are disproportionately affected by homelessness.

To change this, Porchlight has launched The BeYou Project.
It runs weekly meet-ups for LGBT+ young people across Kent. These are places that are safe, welcoming and non-judgemental where they can socialise, have fun and help each other.
It also provides advice to friends, parents and carers about how best to support LGBT+ young people.
The BeYou Project currently operates in Dartford, Gravesham & Swanley, and also in Swale. The scheme is funded by local NHS organisations and run by Porchlight.
